ABOUT ME

Ever since I was little I have felt a great curiosity for graphic arts, creativity, and all the ways we humans have of communicating through images. Over time, that interest became a passion that has stayed with me to this day.

At the same time, my personal and professional path has also been deeply connected to the social field. Since the age of 17 I have worked supporting people with functional diversity, an experience that has helped me grow both professionally and personally and that has deeply shaped the way I understand the world.

For a long time I felt I had to choose between these two paths: graphic arts or social work. But over the years I have discovered that they can not only coexist, but also complement and enrich each other.

That is how La Matriu was born.

A project that arises from the conviction that graphic arts, inclusion, and feminisms can grow and move forward together. A space where creativity is put at the service of people, communities, and ideas that seek to bring about change.

Through design, illustration, graphic production, and workshops, I seek to create accessible, respectful materials and experiences that are coherent with values of social justice, diversity, and participation.

La Matriu is also a personal commitment. A project I am building from home, from scratch, with a lot of enthusiasm, effort, and love. A project that grows little by little, taking care of every detail and every person who trusts it.

Because I believe that graphic arts can be much more than a communication tool: they can create encounters, build bonds, give visibility to diverse realities, and help imagine a fairer and more inclusive world.

And because I believe we should not have to give up a part of who we are to follow a professional path. La Matriu is, precisely, the place where my passions, concerns, and values meet.
