LET'S PRINT 25N: ART, REFLECTION, AND COLLECTIVE MEMORY

Let's Print 25N is a workshop of artistic expression and collective reflection that invites participants to explore, understand, and represent the different forms of sexist violence through visual art.

Using experimental printing techniques, engraving, and artistic composition, the workshop creates a safe space to share experiences, emotions, doubts, and reflections about gender inequalities and the violence that runs through our society.

WHAT WILL WE WORK ON?

Throughout the session we address the phenomenon of sexist violence from a broad and critical perspective. We reflect on the different roles that can appear within these situations: the people who suffer the violence, those who exercise it, those who perpetuate it consciously or unconsciously, as well as those who benefit from the privileges generated by structural inequalities.

Drawing on real data, everyday examples, and participatory dynamics, we open spaces for conversation where participants can express how they live, perceive, or identify these realities in their surroundings.

The aim is not to find single answers, but to encourage critical reflection, active listening, and the free expression of the emotions that emerge during the process.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Each participant develops an individual piece using different graphic resources and printing techniques, such as linocut, printing with various materials, textures, stamps, and other experimental procedures.

The creations can represent emotions, experiences, demands, questions, or personal reflections that arise during the workshop.

At the same time, the group builds a collective piece that brings together the words, emotions, symbols, and ideas shared during the session. This piece becomes a space of shared memory and expression, highlighting the diversity of perspectives and experiences present in the group.

  • Build a collective piece that gathers the voices of the group.

FINAL RESULT

Each participant takes home their own artistic piece and will have been part of a collective creation that turns reflection, memory, and shared emotions into a tool for awareness and social transformation.
